    Injured hiker rescued at Middle TN state park

    An injured female hiker who fell and possibly broke her ankle at Rock Island State Park in Tennessee was rescued by the Sparta White County Rescue Squad, Doyle Volunteer Fire Department, White County EMS, and Tennessee State Parks. The agencies collaborated to locate, assess, and transport the hiker off the trail before emergency medical services provided treatment.
