The American Red Cross has declared a national blood supply crisis for the second time in history, citing a nearly 25% drop in supply and four-year low summer donations. Three organizations, including Pasadena Village, Eaton Fire Collaborative, and the Red Cross, are co-hosting a blood drive at the Collaboratory in Altadena.

Senator Sasha Renée Pérez will host a town hall in Altadena to address gaps in recovery 18 months after the Eaton Fire. The event, titled 'Closing the Recovery Gap,' will take place on July 15 at the Collaboratory, the recovery hub for the Eaton Fire Collaborative.

Altadena Town Council Chair Nic Arnzen will lead an emergency community meeting on June 24 to discuss housing density and SB 1090. The meeting, titled 'Balancing a Reasonable Rebuild,' will take place at The Collaboratory and include a focus on coordinating a pressure campaign for a Governor’s Emergency.

Seventeen months after the Eaton Fire, Pasadena and Altadena high school students are leading a three-hour mental health advocacy event called 'WE MIND' at The Collaboratory, a recovery hub in Altadena. The event takes place at a hub housing nonprofits and a county mental health center.

Pasadena Unified high school students will present mental health support ideas to Assemblymember John Harabedian at the 'WE MIND' event on June 12. The event, organized by Eaton Fire Collaborative, Google.org, and Active Minds, takes place at The Collaboratory in Altadena from 9 a.m. to noon.
