Turbat

Six of seven kidnapped laborers were found bullet-riddled and tortured in Balochistan's Turbat after one was killed immediately following their abduction. The laborers, from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, were working on a development project when they were taken by unidentified armed men. Balochistan's security situation has worsened, with a surge in terrorist attacks and kidnappings, including recent abductions of construction workers and excise officials.

South Air launched inaugural flights from Karachi to Quetta via Turbat and Islamabad via Bahawalpur, enhancing Pakistan's domestic air connectivity. The airline plans to expand services to Peshawar, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Gwadar, aiming to boost tourism, trade, and regional travel convenience.
