    Louisiana State Police Superintendent Robert Hodges announced his retirement, set for this fall, after 31 years with the agency, and is seeking a U.S. marshal position. Gov. Jeff Landry has appointed Lt. Col. Frank Besson, with over 30 years in law enforcement, as Hodges' replacement.
