Louisiana is introducing a new benefits card for its WIC program, effective August 1, allowing remote benefit uploads and eliminating the need for in-person renewals. Participants began receiving the cards in June and must set a numeric passcode for use.

WIC participants in Michigan can now use their benefits online at all 122 Meijer stores, with options for curbside or free home delivery. The program allows separate payment methods for WIC-eligible and non-eligible items in a single transaction, serving over 187,000 women, infants, and children monthly.
