An 8-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer near the Tennessee-Kentucky state line on I-24 caused the closure of westbound lanes and injured more than a dozen people. Nine individuals were hospitalized, and EMS and ambulance services from multiple counties are assisting.

A 20-year-old woman was seriously injured by a boat propeller on Lake Barkley near Bachman Turner Drive in Kentucky. Emergency personnel provided CPR and transported her to a hospital by ambulance after helicopters were grounded by weather. The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife is investigating the incident.

A man was flown to a Nashville hospital after two tractor-trailers collided on Interstate 24 near the Tennessee and Kentucky state line, trapping one driver who sustained severe leg and hip injuries. The crash caused I-24 to be blocked in both directions during the investigation.
