    David Courvelle, 56, a former contract detention officer at the South Louisiana ICE Processing Center, was sentenced to three years in federal prison for sexual abuse of a ward. He engaged in prohibited sexual contact with a female detainee, provided her gifts, and arranged for other detainees to act as lookouts during encounters. The victim stated she felt pressured to perform sexual acts.
