Palisade peach season in Colorado has started 3 to 4 weeks earlier than usual due to warmer winter weather, according to Zack Quintana of Pikes Peak Farmers Markets and third-generation peach grower. The early harvest coincides with cherries and apricots at markets, and Quintana advises buying peaches in early July before C & R Farms stops picking by mid-August.
