- Former coach at Bucknell University charged in death of freshman football player
A former Bucknell University strength and conditioning coach, Mark Kulbis, was charged in the death of freshman football player Calvin Dickey Jr., who collapsed during a training session. Dickey, who had sickle-cell trait, died two days after the session, which included 100 up-downs and plank drills. The attorney general's office attributed his death to the exercises, his medical condition, and exertional rhabdomyolysis.
