China’s BYD claims Germany’s plug-in hybrid crown, disrupting market of iconic auto giants
China’s BYD achieved 232% growth in plug-in hybrid vehicle registrations in Germany in May, capturing 2.6% of the new-car market with 6,169 units registered. The Atto 2 DM-i model led sales with 2,113 registrations, becoming Germany’s top-selling plug-in hybrid.
