DoorDash wants you to stop scrolling and just tell its new AI chatbot what you’re hungry for
DoorDash launched an AI chatbot called Ask DoorDash that allows users to order food via image uploads, voice, or written prompts. The chatbot recommends items based on past orders and social media reviews, checks for low stock of staples, and during its limited rollout, nearly half of takeout orders were from new restaurants for users. The feature follows similar AI assistants introduced by Uber Eats and Instacart.
