Japan’s tech business SoftBank rolls out OpenAI ‘patches’ against cyberattacks

SoftBank Group Corp. and OpenAI are launching a joint cybersecurity service to protect Japan’s critical infrastructure from cyberattacks. The service, targeting the nation’s top 3,000 companies, uses AI to diagnose vulnerabilities and provide patches. The initiative was announced by SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son and OpenAI’s Mark Chen, with Sam Altman absent due to a personal reason.
