A new bridge connecting Pueblo's west side and downtown is in the works; open house scheduled for June 25

A new 24th Street Bridge project aims to improve connectivity between Pueblo's west side and downtown by crossing the BNSF railroad. An open house for the project is scheduled for June 25 at Pueblo Centennial High School, with funding approved by Pueblo City Council in December 2025 and support from the federal RAISE grant under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021.
