- Pueblo City Council passes resolution in support of proposed station for 'CoCo'
Pueblo City Council passed a resolution supporting a proposed passenger rail station for the Colorado Connector (CoCo) service by a 6-1 vote. Councilmember Joe Latino opposed the resolution, arguing northern Colorado should prioritize rail development first. The CoCo plan aims to establish passenger rail service from Fort Collins to Pueblo.

A new 24th Street Bridge project aims to improve connectivity between Pueblo's west side and downtown by crossing the BNSF railroad. An open house for the project is scheduled for June 25 at Pueblo Centennial High School, with funding approved by Pueblo City Council in December 2025 and support from the federal RAISE grant under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021.
