CEO leaves fintech to take helm at Truist
Michael P. Lyons will become president and CEO of Truist on Sept. 1, succeeding Bill Rogers. Rogers, who has led Truist since 2021 as CEO and 2022 as chairman, will transition to executive chair until his retirement in April 2027. Lyons has over three decades of experience in financial services and a history of competitive innovation.
