FTC, 4 states sue trans healthcare nonprofit over gender-affirming treatment

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and four states sued the World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) over allegations of misleading parents about the medical basis and safety of gender-affirming treatments for children. WPATH denied the claims, calling them baseless and asserting the FTC lacks jurisdiction over its medical guidelines.
