Man charged with murder in Uptown stabbing

David Lawrence was arrested and charged with murder and robbery after a stabbing at the Flat Iron Apartment Complex in Uptown Charlotte on June 10. The victim was found stabbed multiple times in the parking lot and pronounced dead at the scene. Lawrence is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.
