First responders find 5 people dead, 2 others injured following carbon monoxide leak

A carbon monoxide leak in a residential duplex in Phelps County, Missouri, resulted in five deaths and two injuries. First responders arrived at the scene Friday morning and found five people dead, one with moderate injuries, and one critically injured. A deputy was also exposed to carbon monoxide during the rescue effort, and the investigation into the leak is ongoing.
