Hong Kong court hears of boy’s final moments after being beaten, starved by mother
A five-year-old boy in Hong Kong died after being physically abused, confined, and starved by his mother, who later pleaded guilty to manslaughter and child cruelty. The boy weighed 9.7kg at death, half the normal weight for his age, and an autopsy revealed 129 injuries and starvation.
