Light, the Rio Power Giant, Closes the Book on a $2 Billion Collapse
Light, a Rio de Janeiro utility, has completed its debt restructuring after filing for bankruptcy in 2023. The company raised R$1.24 billion ($242 million) through a share sale and secured a 30-year license renewal in May to aid its recovery.
