‘Killed it’: Homeowner says driver obliterated mailbox and insurance gave him the runaround
John Kurkowski's mailbox was destroyed in a hit-and-run in Denver. Neighbors provided the suspect's vehicle details, which he used to file a claim with the driver's insurance company, Erie. After initial resistance, the insurance agreed to pay $800 for the damage. Attorney Jason Stoogenke advised on handling similar claims.
