Ex-Dem lawmaker beats Bernie-backed rival for shot at Utah's most competitive House seat
Ben McAdams won Utah's Democratic primary for the newly created 1st Congressional District, defeating rivals including Bernie Sanders-backed candidate Nate Blouin. The race, which raised $4.6 million, will see McAdams face Republican nominee Riley Owen in November. The district was formed after litigation over congressional boundaries.
