The Space Shuttle Endeavour gets unveiled

The Space Shuttle Endeavour was unveiled in a launch configuration at the California Science Center's Samuel Oschin Air and Space Center after a decades-long effort. The center raised $410 million toward a $450 million goal for a new expansion featuring 100 hands-on exhibits, with public access starting Nov. 13, 2026.
