Detroit leaders break ground on new Brennan Community Center at Rouge Park

Detroit leaders and the Detroit Pistons broke ground on a $20 million Brennan Community Center at Rouge Park, set to open in fall 2027. Funded by Pistons owner Tom Gores and the Gores Family Foundation, the 25,000-square-foot facility will offer recreation, education, mentorship, and workforce development resources for residents in the 7th District.
