Doral mother charged after child found alone, searching for food, police say

A Doral mother was arrested after her 11-year-old son was found alone in an apartment complex, having been left unattended overnight. The child reported being frequently left alone, living in poor conditions with little food, and sharing meals with the family dog, which was also confined without food. The mother faces charges of child neglect and animal cruelty, and both children were taken to a hospital for evaluation.
