Women arrested after 2-month-old suffers severe head injury, placed in medical coma, investigators say

Three women were arrested after a 2-month-old child suffered severe head trauma and was placed in a medically induced coma. The infant and other children were found living in a home without air conditioning, infested with pests, and routinely locked in a room. The child's injuries occurred when two older children tossed and stomped the infant while under the care of a third adult, who did not intervene.
