Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control seeks homes for dogs amid renovations

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control is seeking adoptive homes, foster care, or short-term placements for dogs at its Toomey Avenue facility ahead of a temporary five-week closure for kennel renovations. The renovations, required for state relicensing, will reduce available kennel space by 33 units, necessitating the relocation of remaining dogs to another shelter.
