‘Booze It and Lose It’ campaign launches to curb impaired driving
North Carolina's Governor’s Highway Safety Program launched the 'Booze It and Lose It' campaign during the Fourth of July holiday to reduce impaired driving. The initiative, running through July 5, includes increased law enforcement patrols, checkpoints, and public outreach, following 917 DWI arrests last year, including 77 under-21 drivers.
