CMPD: Man arrested in SC for fatal east Charlotte shooting

A 23-year-old man was arrested in South Carolina for a fatal shooting in east Charlotte that occurred on June 14. Samuel Lomax Jr., 30, was found dead from gunshot wounds at a home on Hickory Grove Road. The suspect faces charges including murder, attempted murder, burglary, kidnapping, conspiracy, and firearm possession by a felon.
