Accused cannot claim default bail for non-filing of charge sheet copies: Supreme Court judgment
The Supreme Court ruled that accused individuals cannot claim default bail for failing to file copies of the charge sheet. Default bail is only applicable if the charge sheet itself is not filed within the statutory 60 or 90 days of investigation.
