Police seek help identifying girl found in west Charlotte

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is seeking public help to identify a 1- to 2-year-old girl found near Burnett Avenue and Triumph Drive in west Charlotte by a Good Samaritan on Thursday morning. The girl was wearing a rainbow-colored shirt and red and clear beads in her hair when she was discovered around 10 a.m., and authorities are urging anyone with information to contact 911.
