‘Vanishingly rare’ copy of US Declaration of Independence found by volunteer in UK archives

A 'vanishingly rare' copy of the US Declaration of Independence, one of 11 surviving 'Exeter printing' copies and the only known one outside the US, was discovered by volunteer Michael Scurr in UK archives. The document was found in an 18th-century Royal Navy correspondence volume during cataloging efforts.
