Molly says we dry out in the metro today before more storms return for Independence Day.

The metro area will experience dry, sunny conditions today with highs in the mid-80s before showers and thunderstorms return for the 4th of July, bringing cooler temperatures in the low 80s. Rain and storms are expected to clear east of the area by the evening fireworks display.
