The Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) will remain in abeyance until Pakistan irrevocably stops sponsoring cross-border terrorism, according to the government. Pakistan organized a conference on the Indus and water sharing, where Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar described the IWT as vital for regional peace, stability, and cooperation.
