A 5-year-old K-9 named Santi, a Belgian Malinois with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office, was killed after being hit by a car during a hit-and-run incident. Santi was spooked by illegal fireworks, jumped a fence, and was struck by a fleeing driver.
