York County, Rock Hill squabble over tax incentives for Octapharma project
York County and Rock Hill leaders disagree over a tax incentive plan for Octapharma’s US headquarters project. York County’s proposal would require Rock Hill to relinquish 100% of its tax revenue from the company for decades, prompting pushback from the city, which passed a resolution capping tax credits at 50% for the first 10 years. The county will vote on the plan again on July 13.
