Powerball expands to UK; what it means for American players

Powerball is expanding to the UK starting this month, allowing UK National Lottery players to participate in the same game with unchanged $2 price and jackpot odds. The expansion partners Allwyn UK with the Multi-State Lottery Association, adding 49 UK lotteries to the jackpot pool while local benefits remain in the UK. The first UK-eligible drawing is scheduled for July 22.
