Charlotte Hornets General Manager Jeff Peterson stated trading LaMelo Ball was the hardest decision he has made, aiming to position the team for long-term success. The Hornets traded Ball and Josh Green to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Naz Reid and draft picks, and also sent veteran Miles Bridges and picks to the Phoenix Suns for two players and a first-round draft pick.
