Domestic violence suspect cut off ankle monitor before arrest, deputies say

Isaiah Ryan Cope was arrested after allegedly assaulting a female victim in northern Iredell County, cutting off his court-ordered ankle monitor, and fleeing. He was on pretrial release for prior domestic violence charges and faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges, including burglary, assault, and interfering with an electronic monitoring device.
