Felony charges have been filed against Kuljeet Singh Kang, a 29-year-old Palatine resident, for allegedly fleeing the scene of a fatal crash along I-80/94 in the south suburbs. Illinois State Police charged him with leaving the scene of a fatal injury.

A 29-year-old Palatine man was charged with reckless homicide and leaving the scene of a fatal injury crash after hitting a pedestrian on I-80 in Lansing. The victim, a 23-year-old Carpentersville resident, was changing a tire near Torrence Avenue when struck and pronounced dead at the scene. The suspect was arrested two days later and is currently in Cook County jail.
