NHAI has opened a ₹21-crore vehicular underpass on the Chennai-Bengaluru Highway in Vellore. The underpass is 5.5 metres in height and 20 metres wide.

Protesters gathered at the NHAI office in Kerala’s Kasaragod to demand a flyover at Nileswaram, arguing that the proposed seven-metre-high embankment at Nileswaram Market Junction is unscientific and would cause traffic congestion and divide the town.
