Pulse Polio drive

Over 3.5 lakh children in Kalaburagi will be covered under the Pulse Polio drive as health workers conduct door-to-door visits over the next three days to reach the targeted children.

Nearly 3 lakh children in Raichur will be covered under the Pulse Polio drive. The initiative aims to immunize a large number of children against polio.

The Pulse polio immunization drive has crossed 95% coverage in Chittoor, Annamayya, and Sri Sathya Sai districts. The Collector of Chittoor has urged parents to ensure all children receive the vaccine and directed health officials to intensify efforts to achieve 100% coverage within two days.

The Pulse Polio drive in Tirupati will distribute drops for children under five at 1,937 centres on June 28. Door-to-door visits by staff will follow on Monday and Tuesday to reach children missed during the initial distribution.

Andhra Pradesh is conducting a Pulse Polio drive from June 28 to 30, aiming to immunize 49.2 lakh children. Drops will be administered at 29,873 booths on June 28, followed by house-to-house visits on June 29 and 30 to cover any missed children.

A Pulse Polio drive will administer drops to 2.83 lakh children under five in Anantapur district from June 28 to July 1, with 1,623 booths and door-to-door visits on June 29 and 30.

Telangana is preparing for a Pulse Polio drive on June 28 to vaccinate 40.97 lakh children. The initiative will use fixed booths, mobile teams, and door-to-door surveys to ensure every child is covered.

Kerala is set to conduct a Pulse Polio drive on June 28, administering oral polio drops to over 19 lakh children under five years. The initiative will utilize 22,288 booths and involve 46,663 trained volunteers for vaccine distribution.

Karnataka is conducting a Pulse Polio drive on June 28 to immunize 64.84 lakh children. The initiative aims to strengthen polio eradication efforts in the state.
