Woman sentenced to prison following deadly south Charlotte shooting

Ebonee Rahman, 45, was sentenced to 292-363 months in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in the shooting death of Lashunda McLendon, 42, in south Charlotte on Dec. 13, 2024. Police found McLendon with a gunshot wound on Archdale Drive, and she was declared dead at the scene.
