Qantas plans a 22-hour London-Sydney nonstop flight, set for October next year
Qantas Airways plans to launch the world's longest direct flight between London and Sydney in October next year, using a modified Airbus A350-1000 jet for a 17,015-kilometer journey lasting up to 22 hours. The flight will carry 238 passengers, with 140 in economy class, and tickets will cost more than connecting flights via Singapore.
