Six Kurdish fighters killed in IRGC ambush as clashes spread across western Iran
Six Kurdish fighters from the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) were killed in an ambush by Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in northwest Iran, escalating clashes in the region. The IRGC claimed to have killed five PDKI members, while Kurdish opposition groups cited increased attacks and repression in Iranian Kurdish areas since February.
