Iran begins a procession through Tehran for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s funeral

Iran began a funeral procession in Tehran for the late Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, with his flag-draped coffin and those of his family killed in an airstrike being transported to Mehrabad International Airport. The mourning period, which includes threats of revenge against U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, will end with Khamenei's burial at the Imam Reza shrine in Mashhad. U.S.-Iran negotiations are paused until after the burial.
