Iran begins a procession through Tehran for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's funeral

Iran began a funeral procession in Tehran for Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, whose flag-draped coffin and those of family members killed in an airstrike will be transported to Mehrabad International Airport before burial in Mashhad. The U.S. is negotiating with Iran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, address nuclear programs, and end the war, but talks are paused until after the burial.
