Kerala's government announced ₹8-lakh aid for families of each deceased from rain-related incidents as the death toll rose to 26, with four still missing, according to Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan.

The Maharashtra Council was adjourned following record-breaking rainfall in Mumbai, Palghar, and Raigad districts, which led to 13 deaths in rain-related incidents over three to four days, as reported by Minister Girish Mahajan.
